Alexei Berteig graduated from the prestigious Canadian Film Centre Writer’s Lab in 1998. He has written several feature scripts for producers in Asia and Canada, and has worked as a story editor for major feature films. As a commercial cinematographer, his clients include Adidas, HP, Motorola, Haier, Tiens, and Mendale, while his feature-film credits include the indie hit “Walking The Dead.” He has directed several short films and commercials and is an award-winning documentary director. He also maintains his interests in drawing, acting, music and photography, disciplines that have been a source of inspiration in his professional career. Alexei and his Chinese wife currently live in Beijing with their two daughters.
